iPad Axure Widget Library

Since Apple released their iPad in April 2010 things began to change for mobile designers and developers. But until today there were only a few good wireframe kits for the iPad. Specially Axure users have to make workarounds (we know it by our own business). But today we have good news for all Axure users: We made an Axure Widget Library from the teehan+lax iPad_GUI_1_0.psd template (thanks, keep up the great work). It contains 82 items, 99% customizable text-elements, icons and many more. Happy prototyping!

      Thanks for your great work,

      But just a little question. I worked with the library, but i did not find anyway to change the color of the widgets. To be more specific I need to change the color of “table view action single” to show that it is selected, but I can’t.

      Do you have any idea regarding this problem?

    Hi Tom,

    no problem. Just go to the widgets inspector and click on “Load Library” and select the file. Now you’ll see it in the widgets drop-down list.

    Just for your entertainment: within IE9 beta, the download link shows a white box and no content. Took me a while to find that link 8]

      What I do: export a html axure prototype and upload it to my webspace. Then Open it with safari on my iPad. Cheers

    I use an iPad app : iStorage.
    I put all my axure prototype, and that’s works :)

    Great work but I wish you redesigned the native widgets instead of just using picture files. That way we can customize etc.

    Hi!
    I love your library!
    I have one question, How do you rotate the ipad image?
    I cant rotate it…. I already check on the tutorials and with the command doesn’t rotate it. I also try on the widget property window and it doesn’t display rotate option. I wonder How I can rotate it. Thanks!

    Hi all. Sorry, I know that my response is late. I am working on the redesign / rebranding of my portfolio (this page) which is doing good and almost finished. After that’s done I’ll redraw all the Axure iPad stuff. I’ll keep you in the loop.

    Hey this is delicious, I am going to use it straight away!!

    The only thing that I am missing is the ipad safari browser interface. As I design responsive sites rather than build apps. That would be handy. I’ll let you know if I get around to making one!

    hi there,

    fantastic work! I use the iPad widget almost in all my prototypes… thank you very much!

    i just have a QQ – when i use the ‘Bar Button (black)’ and edit text – the text appears cut off on the prototype.

    is there somewhere i can send you more info…i dont know if i am doing something work…
